Gaya: The 47th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a cycle rally in Gaya on Sunday under the Government of India’s Fit India Movement.
The event was held as part of the ‘Sunday on Cycle’ campaign and began at around 8.30am.
Rally flagged off by Commandant
The rally was flagged off by Commandant Awadhesh Kumar. More than 50 CRPF personnel participated in the programme.
The cyclists passed through different parts of the city, spreading awareness about physical fitness, healthy living and environmental protection.
Focus on health and sustainability
During the rally, participants conveyed the message of “Stay Healthy – Stay Fit” to local residents.
CRPF officials said regular exercise and cycling contribute not only to better health but also to environmental conservation by encouraging sustainable modes of transport.
Officers and personnel attend programme
Assistant Commandant Rajesh Kumar Maurya, Subedar Major Satyendra Singh and several officers and personnel of the 47th Battalion were present during the event.
Officials said the programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from both CRPF personnel and local residents.
