Patna: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP State President, Samrat Chaudhary, met with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi on Thursday to discuss the development of Bihar and review ongoing schemes in the state.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Finance, focused on various issues pertinent to Bihar’s development, state interests, and public welfare. Mr. Chaudhary highlighted the importance of the ongoing development plans in Bihar and their impact on the state’s progress.
A significant part of the discussion revolved around securing increased funding for Bihar to accelerate its development. Mr. Chaudhary emphasised the need for additional financial support from the central government to bolster various schemes currently underway in the state.
