Hajipur: East Central Railway’s General Manager, Chhatrasal Singh, held a high-level meeting with department heads and other senior officials at the railway headquarters in Hajipur on July 1, 2025. Divisional Railway Managers from all five divisions joined the meeting via video conferencing.
Key issues discussed included passenger safety, security, and train punctuality. Chhatrasal instructed Divisional Railway Managers and the Chief Security Commissioner to implement immediate measures to ease congestion at level crossings. He also emphasised the importance of preparedness during the ongoing monsoon season to ensure safe and uninterrupted rail operations.
The meeting included detailed discussions on operational issues raised by the Divisional Railway Managers. Chhatrasal directed the Principal Chief Commercial Manager to take necessary steps to boost non-PRS income and enhance the railway’s financial sustainability.
The meeting concluded with a clear directive to all departments to work collaboratively towards maintaining service standards and passenger satisfaction across the East Central Railway network.
