Patna: The three-day inter-school sports festival “Excelsior-2024” concluded on 18 December at Delhi Public School, Patna East. The festival saw participation from 15 schools across Patna, with around 550 students competing in various events such as football, basketball, volleyball, athletics, and kabaddi.
St. Michael High School claimed first place in football and boys’ basketball, while St. Joseph Convent School, Jethuli, won the girls’ basketball competition. Tribhuvan High School took the top spot in boys’ volleyball, and Bishop Scott Boys School emerged victorious in boys’ kabaddi. Delhi Public School, Patna East, excelled in athletics, securing first place in the competition.
Chief guest Amit Prakash, Pro Vice Chairman of Delhi Public School, Patna East, praised the students for their passion, hard work, and sportsmanship. He also appreciated the school’s efforts in organizing the grand event. The festival concluded with a musical program, vote of thanks, a closing parade, and the national anthem.
The event provided a platform for students to showcase their talent and fostered greater interaction between the participating schools.
