Gaya : Gaya Ji Airport has released its winter flight schedule for 2026-27, outlining domestic and international services for the upcoming tourist season in Bodh Gaya. The schedule includes connections to Bangkok, Don Mueang, Yangon and Paro in Bhutan, alongside regular services linking Gaya with Delhi and Kolkata.
The seasonal expansion is expected to improve connectivity for international tourists, Buddhist pilgrims and local passengers travelling through the airport.
Airport Executive Director Awadhesh Kumar said services operated by Thai AirAsia, Thai Airways, Bhutan Airlines, Drukair, Myanmar Airways International, Myanmar National Airlines, IndiGo and Air India are included in the winter schedule.
IndiGo’s Bangkok Service From October 26
IndiGo is scheduled to introduce a Bangkok–Gaya–Bangkok service from October 26, operating on Mondays and Thursdays until March 25, 2027.
According to the published schedule, the flight will arrive in Gaya at 11.05 am and depart for Bangkok at 12.10 pm.
Thai Airways is scheduled to operate a daily Bangkok–Gaya–Bangkok service from October 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027. The flight is due to arrive in Gaya at 12.40 pm and leave for Bangkok at 1.40 pm.
Thai AirAsia’s Don Mueang–Gaya–Don Mueang service is scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The aircraft is expected to arrive at 12.30 pm and depart at 1.15 pm.
Flights To Bhutan’s Paro
Bhutan Airlines is scheduled to operate a Bangkok–Gaya–Paro service on Wednesdays and Saturdays from October 28, with the proposed schedule running until March 27, 2027.
The report also mentions an initial service scheduled to arrive in Gaya at 11 am on October 12 and depart for Paro at 11.40 am.
Drukair’s Paro–Gaya–Paro service is also included in the winter schedule, with operations planned on specified days during the season. The frequency varies across November and the following winter months.
Yangon Connections Through Myanmar Airlines
The winter schedule includes services connecting Gaya with Yangon, Myanmar, through Myanmar Airways International and Myanmar National Airlines.
Myanmar Airways International is scheduled to operate a Yangon–Gaya–Yangon service on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from October 28. The flight is expected to arrive at 11.40 am and depart at 12.40 pm.
A second service is listed from October 25 to March 26, operating on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Myanmar National Airlines is scheduled to operate its Yangon–Gaya–Yangon service from October 21, 2026, to April 28, 2027, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The flight is due to arrive at 12.30 pm and depart for Yangon at 1.30 pm.
Two Daily Air India Flights To Delhi From October 25
Domestic connectivity will also expand under the winter schedule. Air India is scheduled to operate two daily flights to and from Gaya from October 25, with services proposed to continue until March 27, 2027.
According to the airport schedule, the first flight will arrive in Gaya at 11 am and depart for Delhi at 11.30 am. The second will arrive at 4.20 pm and leave for Delhi at 4.50 pm.
The schedule also includes IndiGo services connecting Delhi, Gaya and Kolkata. One flight is scheduled to arrive from Delhi at 11.30 am and depart for Kolkata at 12 noon.
Another service is expected to arrive from Kolkata at 4.30 pm and depart for Delhi at 5 pm.
Better Connectivity For Bodh Gaya’s Tourist Season
The winter schedule is designed to serve increased passenger movement during Bodh Gaya’s tourist season, when international visitors and Buddhist pilgrims travel to the region.
The proposed international services provide links with Thailand, Bhutan and Myanmar, while the domestic schedule offers additional options for passengers travelling to Delhi and Kolkata.
Passengers should confirm flight timings and operating days directly with their airlines before travelling, as seasonal schedules may be revised.
