Motihari: A brutal incident unfolded in Bihar’s Motihari district, where a minor girl was allegedly raped after being forcibly separated from her brother. The incident, reported to have occurred in the Banjaria police station area, sparked outrage among villagers who subsequently apprehended and beat the alleged assailant.
According to reports, the girl and her brother were riding a motorcycle when they were stopped by an individual who allegedly threatened them with a knife. The attacker is said to have severely beaten the brother, leaving him injured, before dragging the sister to a deserted location where the rape occurred.
The girl managed to escape and immediately informed her family. Upon learning of the assault, enraged villagers swiftly gathered and confronted the accused, subjecting him to a beating. The local police, assisted by a Dial 112 team, arrived at the scene and took the suspect into custody. Authorities have launched a full investigation into the matter.
