Patna : Gold and silver prices recorded a slight decline in the domestic bullion market on Friday, offering a modest change for buyers planning jewellery purchases during the festive season.
According to the morning rates provided for October 9, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,49,560 per 10 grams in Ranchi and Mumbai, while the rate in Patna stood at Rs 1,49,590. Silver prices fell by Rs 100 per kilogram to Rs 2,34,900 across the listed cities.
The quoted rates are based on the previous trading session’s closing prices and early morning trends. Actual jewellery prices may vary depending on the jeweller, local taxes, making charges and applicable GST.
Gold Prices Today: Check City-Wise Rates
The price of 24-carat gold declined by Rs 10 per 10 grams across the six cities listed in the rate table.
In Patna, gold was priced at Rs 1,49,590 per 10 grams, down from Rs 1,49,600 on the previous day. Ranchi and Mumbai recorded a rate of Rs 1,49,560, while Delhi and Lucknow were at Rs 1,49,690.

The listed rate for 22-carat gold was Rs 13,709 per gram, equivalent to Rs 1,37,090 per 10 grams. The 22-carat rate may differ across cities and sellers.
Silver Price Today: Rs 2,34,900 Per Kg
Silver prices also edged lower on Friday. The price of one kilogram of silver fell by Rs 100, from Rs 2,35,000 on the previous day to Rs 2,34,900.
The quoted rate per gram stood at Rs 234.90.
