Jamui: Prof Ashish Kumar, Principal of Government Engineering College, Jamui, was invited to deliver a guest lecture and conduct a workshop at Brawijaya University in Malang, Indonesia. The university, which has more than 60,000 students enrolled in vocational, undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and professional programmes, is considered one of Indonesia’s leading higher education institutions.
According to the QS World University Rankings 2024, Brawijaya University is ranked 208th in Asia and has achieved notable progress in various global rankings. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024 place it 12th in Indonesia.
Prof Ashish, listed among the top 2% scientists worldwide as per the Stanford University and Elsevier report, held interactions with the Dean of Engineering, professors and students at Brawijaya University to explore possibilities for future research collaborations. The entire visit was funded by Brawijaya University.
