Patna: A grand mushaira will be organized as part of the “Shad Azimabadi Festival” to celebrate the birthday of the renowned poet Shad Azimabadi. The event is jointly hosted by the Department of Art, Culture and Youth, Bihar, and the Bihar Sangeet Natak Academy. It will take place on January 8, 2025 at 5:00 pm at Premchand Rangshala, Rajendra Nagar, Patna.
Prominent poets and writers, including Alok Dhanwa, Qasim Khurshid, Shabina Adeeb, Lakshmi Shankar Bajpai, Niloptal Mrinal, Talat Parveen, Shankar Qaimuri, Kaleem Qaiser, Sandeep Dwivedi, and Tahir Faraz, will present their works. The program aims to honor Shad Azimabadi’s literary contributions and promote awareness of Urdu and Hindi literature among the younger generation. Literature enthusiasts and culture lovers are invited to participate and make the event a success.
