Patna: The weather across Bihar will remain normal on Tuesday, with no rainfall alert issued for any district, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said. Maximum temperatures are likely to rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius during this period.
In the last 24 hours, rainfall was reported only in Jamui district, while the rest of Bihar remained dry. Patna, Sheikhpura, and Nalanda witnessed bright sunshine, leaving residents struggling with heat and humidity.
Heavy Rain Forecast from September 25
According to the IMD, the weather is expected to change from the night of September 25, with heavy rainfall likely to continue until October 2. A low-pressure area is forming in the Bay of Bengal near the Myanmar-Bangladesh coasts, which could intensify and directly impact Bihar’s weather.
Meteorologists have predicted light to moderate rainfall in several districts on September 25 and 26. Northern and eastern parts of Bihar are expected to receive more rain, while southern districts and the Magadh region may see only light showers. Experts also noted that the withdrawal of the monsoon has been delayed this year, resulting in continued rainfall activity in late September.
