Patna: Students from Patna delivered standout performances in the ICSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for 2026, the results of which were announced on Thursday.
Class 10 Toppers
Divya Prakash of St. Xavier’s High School and Ranit Raj of St. Paul’s High School jointly topped the city in Class 10, each securing 99%.
Divya said he studied for six to seven hours daily, increasing it to up to 10 hours before the examinations, and now plans to pursue engineering through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
Rounit credited regular note-taking and self-study for his performance and said he aims to study at one of the Indian Institutes of Technology.
Class 12 Topper
Nidhi of St. Joseph’s Convent High School topped the Class 12 results with 98%.
She attributed her success to consistent revision, discipline, and support from her parents and teachers, and said she aspires to join the civil services.
Overall Performance
According to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), Bihar recorded a pass percentage of 99.52% in Class 10 and 98.83% in Class 12.
Officials said girls once again outperformed boys in both categories.
While the Class 10 pass rate improved marginally by 0.12 percentage points compared with the previous year, Class 12 results saw a slight decline of 0.95 percentage points, though overall success rates remained high.
Other High Performers
Samar Kant, a student of St. Paul’s High School in Digha, also drew attention by scoring above 90% in nearly all subjects.
Teachers described him as a disciplined student who focused on conceptual understanding rather than rote learning.

Students can check their results on the official CISCE websites—cisce.org and results.cisce.org—as well as via the DigiLocker platform.
Candidates are required to enter their UID, index number and captcha code to access their mark sheets.
