Bodh Gaya: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya has taken a significant step towards achieving AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation following a crucial visit by Prathap Das, the Regional Head for South Asia, AACSB, on August 6. The visit provided essential insights into global quality standards and reinforced the institute’s commitment to academic excellence in management education.
IIM Bodh Gaya’s Director, Dr. Vinita S. Sahay, welcomed Das and led a focused dialogue with key members of the institute’s accreditation and administrative teams. Discussions centered on the Initial Self-Evaluation Report (iSER), the institute’s alignment with AACSB’s 2020 Business Accreditation Standards, and ongoing progress reports. The meeting also addressed expectations for the upcoming Peer Review Team (PRT) visit and the crucial role of continuous improvement in fostering institutional excellence.
Following the discussions, Das was given a comprehensive tour of the IIM Bodh Gaya campus, including the Pragyata Learning Resource Centre and other key facilities. This provided him with a firsthand look at the institute’s infrastructure and its readiness to meet international quality standards.
The visit marks a significant milestone in IIM Bodh Gaya’s pursuit of AACSB accreditation. It affirms the institute’s dedication to academic rigor and research excellence, as it continues its mission to develop mindful and socially responsible business leaders aligned with globally benchmarked standards.
