Bodh Gaya: Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya, in collaboration with Dehli Meditech Chivar Hospital (DMCH), successfully organized a two-day “Save Life Initiative” aimed at promoting health awareness and life-saving skills. The event, led by IIM Bodh Gaya’s CSR Committee, Pragati, began on November 23 at Bapunagar Village, where over 55 rural residents received comprehensive health services, including vital checks, doctor consultations, and free medicines.

A live CPR demonstration was the highlight of the initiative, conducted by DMCH’s Director Dr. Krishna Prasad Vishwakarma, senior doctor Dr. Kushagra Vishwakarma, and a team of nursing staff. Villagers were trained in essential life-saving techniques to equip them for medical emergencies. This effort was guided by IIM Bodh Gaya Director Dr. Vinita Sahay, emphasizing the institute’s vision of meaningful community engagement.

On November 24, the programme shifted to the IIM Bodh Gaya campus, where students, faculty, and staff actively participated in hands-on CPR training sessions. Practical demonstrations by the DMCH team empowered attendees to respond effectively to emergencies, reinforcing the importance of such skills in everyday life.

The initiative reflected IIM Bodh Gaya’s commitment to holistic development and social responsibility. Pragati Chairpersons Prof. Suresh KG and Prof. Johnson Abhishek Minz, along with the DMCH team, were credited for their efforts in making the event a success.

Through this collaboration, IIM Bodh Gaya reaffirmed its dedication to fostering a healthier, safer society while promoting education and awareness through impactful initiatives.
