Bodh Gaya: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya has risen two places to 31st in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025, cementing its status as the top management school in Bihar and one of the country’s emerging business education leaders.
The institute’s ascent marks a significant leap from its 53rd position in 2023, highlighting its steady progress and growing national reputation. Launched by the Ministry of Education in 2015, the NIRF evaluates institutions on key metrics including teaching quality, research output, graduation outcomes, inclusivity, and peer perception.
Under the stewardship of Director Prof. Vinita S. Sahay, IIM Bodh Gaya has emphasised holistic learning, innovative pedagogy, and industry collaboration. The institute currently enrolls over 1,600 students across five fully residential programmes, including the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), MBA, MBA in Digital Business Management (DBM), and MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management.
The recognition positions IIM Bodh Gaya ahead of other new-generation IIMs established around the same period, reinforcing its rapid growth and consolidating its reputation as a premier management education hub in eastern India.
