Patna: Faizal Khan — better known across India as Khan Sir, the widely popular YouTube educator with a signature teaching style — has revealed that he recently got married, and the timing of the event has added to the intrigue: it happened during the India-Pakistan war scare earlier this month.
Speaking candidly during a live class on his Khan GS Research Centre YouTube channel, Khan Sir told his students, “I got married during the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. When the whole country was watching the news of the war, I was getting married.” His trademark humour and timing caught his audience off-guard, leaving students surprised, before congratulatory messages began pouring in on social media.
The revelation — typically understated and delivered in his familiar conversational tone — has sparked intense curiosity among his followers, with the biggest question being: who is Khan Sir’s bride? According to sources, the educator is said to have married a woman named “A S Khan,” though neither Khan Sir nor his team has officially confirmed the identity.
Adding to the mystique, his wedding reception card — which began circulating on messaging platforms — contains neither his full name nor that of his wife. It simply mentions a reception in Patna on June 2 and a special “daawat” (banquet) on June 6.
