Patna: As the Bihar Assembly elections draw near, Bhojpuri actor and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate from Chhapra, Khesari Lal Yadav, is facing new legal trouble. The Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has reportedly issued a notice over alleged illegal construction at his Mumbai residence, warning that the property could be demolished if the violations are not rectified.
According to the notice, a complaint was received regarding unauthorized construction of sheds on the ground, first, and second floors of Row House Nos. 1 and 2, located behind Natasha Park in Mira Road (East). The structures, made using iron angles and sheets, were found to deviate from the approved building plan.
Following an inspection, MBMC officials confirmed that the modifications were carried out without proper authorization. The civic body has instructed the removal of the illegal structures immediately, cautioning that failure to comply will result in legal action and demolition at the owner’s expense.
“The unauthorized construction must be removed at once. Otherwise, the Municipal Corporation will demolish it and recover the cost as tax,” the notice reportedly states.
Meanwhile, Yadav and his family are occupied with the ongoing election campaign in Bihar. When journalists visited the property, only a caretaker was present, and no comment was available from Yadav’s representatives. MBMC officials also remained unavailable for response due to a public holiday.
