Gaya: PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. One, Gaya, organised a felicitation ceremony to honour students who performed exceptionally in the CBSE Class XII Â Examination 2026.
The school recorded a 100% pass result, with all 96 students successfully clearing the examination. Meritorious students were felicitated with garlands and sweets as part of the programme attended by teachers, parents and students.
Mahi Kumari tops with 99.8%
Mahi Kumari of the Commerce stream emerged as the school topper after securing 499 out of 500 marks, equivalent to 99.8%. She scored full marks in Business Studies, Accountancy, Information Practices and Economics.
Among other Commerce students, Pari Priya secured 95.8%, Shristy got 95.4%. while, Shorya Raj scored 93.4%
In the Science stream, Aman Kumar topped the Mathematics group with 94.6%, while Divya Kumari secured the highest marks in the Biology group with 85.6%.
Former KV official joins online
Anurag Bhatnagar, former Deputy Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Patna Region, joined the event virtually and congratulated the students. He encouraged them to continue working with discipline, perseverance and a positive outlook.
Several teachers also joined the ceremony online and conveyed their best wishes to the students.
Principal credits teamwork
School principal Ashok Kumar Gupta said the results reflected the hard work of students, support from parents and guidance provided by teachers.
He said the school remained committed to maintaining high academic standards in the future.
Senior teachers Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Archana Suman and Aarti Bhokar, along with librarian Ved Prakash Tripathi, also congratulated the students and attributed the success to the school’s academic environment and leadership.
Students and parents express gratitude
Addressing the gathering, Mahi Kumari credited her success to regular attendance, self-study, group discussions, support from teachers and encouragement from her parents.
Parents present at the ceremony thanked the school and expressed happiness over the students’ achievements.
The event concluded with participation from a large number of teachers, students and parents, with the campus witnessing a celebratory atmosphere.
