Patna: The Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign has announced a series of national events across six cities over the next four months, as the growing civic movement seeks to expand its education, entrepreneurship and community programmes across the state and beyond.
Speaking at the press conference, IPS officer Vikas Vaibhav was joined by retired Wing Commander Umendranath Tripathi, entrepreneur Rahul Kushwaha, campaign coordinators Mohan Jha and Dr Preeti Bala, and media representatives.
Events are planned in Ranchi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Patna and New Delhi between December 2025 and March 2026, organizers said on Wednesday. The campaign, which positions itself as a non-partisan movement for Bihar’s development, claims to have mobilized more than 275,000 participants through local chapters spread across districts in India and abroad.
Launched with the stated aim of contributing to a “developed Bihar within a developed India by 2047”, the initiative has built a large volunteer network that includes women’s groups, doctors, professionals and entrepreneurs. It currently supports 28 free education centres in 15 districts, nearly 600 early-stage startups, and a growing network of women-led “Gargi” chapters focused on education and self-employment.
Organizers said the upcoming events include the Bihar @ 2047 Vision Conclave (Season 3) in Bengaluru on December 21, where Bihar’s industry minister, Dr Dilip Jaiswal, is expected to attend as chief guest. Several MLAs have also been invited. The conclave aims to connect Biharis living in South India with opportunities in investment and entrepreneurship.
On January 18, 2026, Hyderabad will host the Bihar Development Summit at the T-Hub innovation centre, with deputy chief minister Samrat Chaudhary due to attend. A larger summit is planned on February 22, 2026, at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi, which is expected to draw business leaders, educationists and youth groups.
Other events include the LIB Literature Festival in Patna on 8 February, the Gargi Women Empowerment Summit on March 8, 2026, and the campaign’s fifth foundation day on March 22, 2026.
Campaign organizers say the movement has grown rapidly through education, equality and entrepreneurship initiatives. Its 23 women-led Gargi Pathshala centres currently provide free education to around 2,000 disadvantaged students. The Jeevak chapters, led by medical professionals, have conducted more than 300 free health camps, benefiting over 50,000 people.
Entrepreneurship remains a major focus. The campaign aims to help establish at least five successful startups in each district of Bihar by 2028, each providing jobs to more than 100 people. Numerous entrepreneurship summits and “Vibrant Bihar” conclaves have been held in Patna, Delhi and other major Indian cities, as well as in Dubai and the UK.
Organizers say more than 2,300 public programmes have been held in Bihar and elsewhere, including large-scale “Namaste Bihar” mass dialogues in Begusarai, Ara, Rohtas, Saran and Vaishali, drawing tens of thousands of participants.
