Motihari: A wedding in Motihari has become a symbol of love transcending borders, as Amrit Srivastava tied the knot with Charlene from the Philippines in a ceremony blending cultures and traditions.
After living in Dubai for three years, the couple decided to take their relationship to the next level. Charlene arrived in Motihari with her family on 4 February, and the wedding was solemnised with traditional Hindu rituals, marking the union of two distinct cultures.
Amrit revealed that it was love at first sight for him, though it took him a year to confess his feelings. The wedding arrangements were made entirely according to Charlene’s preferences, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for her and her family.
The event created a buzz in the village, with relatives and locals enthusiastically participating in the celebrations. Charlene’s father, Magnolia, expressed his joy at witnessing the cultural richness of rural India and was warmly welcomed by the local community.
