Rohtas: A 28-year-old man is in critical condition after being repeatedly stabbed outside his home in Bhaluadi village, under the jurisdiction of Indrapuri police station in Bihar’s Rohtas district.The victim, Amit Tiwari, was reportedly sitting at the entrance of his house on Sunday evening, watching videos on his phone, when he was approached and attacked without warning by a neighbour. The assailant, yet to be identified by police, is alleged to have stabbed Amit multiple times in the chest and abdomen before fleeing the scene.
Amit was rushed to the trauma centre in Sasaram for emergency treatment. His brother-in-law, Vinay, told local authorities that there was no known dispute between Amit and the attacker, and that the assault appeared entirely unprovoked.“ The investigation is ongoing,” said the officer in charge at Indrapuri police station. “We are questioning residents and conducting raids in an effort to locate and arrest the suspect.”
