Rajgir: Nalanda University in Rajgir hosted a painting competition on Wednesday under the theme “Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala ke Sang”, inviting students to imagine India as a global knowledge leader by 2047.
The event, held at the university’s multipurpose hall, was organised in collaboration with the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Participants included both Indian and international students of Nalanda University, alongside pupils from neighbouring schools.

Centred on the theme “Vishwaguru – India as a Global Knowledge Leader”, the competition encouraged young artists to depict their vision of a developed India through creative expression. The university said the initiative was part of its Sahbhagita programme, which aims to provide platforms for students to showcase their talent and creativity.
