Patna: The NDA government is working to create large-scale employment opportunities for young people in Bihar, Road Construction Minister Nitin Nabin said on Wednesday, as thousands received offer letters at the One Day Employment cum Business Fair 2025 in Patna.

Road Construction Minister Nitin Nabin attended the One Day Employment cum Business Fair 2025 at Gyan Bhawan, Gandhi Maidan, Bankipur Assembly on Wednesday. The event was inaugurated by Labor Resources Minister Santosh Singh and Nitin Nabin by lighting a ceremonial lamp.

At the fair, appointment letters were distributed to ITI students selected by renowned companies such as MRF and L&T. Certificates were also awarded to those who completed the Skilled Youth Program (KYP), and free study material was distributed to students preparing for competitive exams.

Addressing the gathering, Nitin Nabin said the NDA government is working diligently for the better future, employment, and self-reliance of youth. “In 2025, lakhs of youth have been given jobs through various programs,” he said, adding that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the Labor Resources Department has given a golden opportunity for employment in the private sector to technically and non-technically qualified youth from all districts.
Around 40 companies from across the country participated in the fair, representing sectors such as automobile, hospitality, and e-commerce. Thousands of youth had registered, and many received offer letters on the spot.

Nitin said the aim was not just to provide jobs but also to start new possibilities for youth. He emphasised that the NDA government is continuously working to empower the youth with skills and opportunities under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Highlighting recent efforts, Nitin Nabin said that in the past week alone, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed appointment letters to more than 51,000 newly appointed youth in various government departments and organisations after addressing the Rozgar Mela via video conferencing. Meanwhile, the chief minister approved a plan to create 1 crore jobs in the next five years during a cabinet meeting.
