Industry Minister Nitish Mishra said the department is continuously working to make land available for enterprises to expand industrialisation in Bihar in the coming years.
Beyond Gayaji, the state is planning industrial parks across Munger, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Vaishali and other districts. In Munger, 50 acres of government land has been transferred to the industry department for infrastructure work. Jhanjharpur in Madhubani will see a new industrial park on 712 acres, while Vaishali will develop over 1,243 acres across Jandaha, Raja Pakad and Mahua. In Sitamarhi, industrial areas are coming up in Nanpur and Sonvarsha.
