Patna: Bihar’s Road Construction Minister and BJP MLA from Bankipur, Nitin Nabin, launched a scathing attack on the opposition, accusing them of resorting to “misinformation and confusion” while the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, is consistently making historic decisions for the welfare of the poor, farmers, youth, and women.
Addressing the media, Nabin asserted that the government is “scripting a new chapter of development,” while the opposition, “lacking any real issues,” is engaging in irresponsible politics. He specifically cited incidents like the Pahalgam terror attack, the halting of Operation Sindoor, and rumors surrounding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar, claiming the opposition has “twisted facts and woven a web of falsehoods around these sensitive matters.”
Government’s Welfare Initiatives Highlighted
Minister Nabin highlighted several key initiatives undertaken by the government, including the recently announced 125 units of free electricity per month, timely availability of fertilizers and seeds for farmers, comprehensive employment and skill development programs for youth, and various empowerment schemes for women. “The government is meeting public expectations on every front and working effectively at the grassroots without any noise or drama,” he stated.
Questioning Opposition’s Intentions
The Minister questioned the intentions of the opposition, remarking, “Those who dragged Bihar into darkness, crime, and backwardness for decades are now pointing fingers at the very efforts that are lifting the state forward.” He expressed confidence in the public’s discernment, stating, “The public is watching everything and will respond strongly when the time comes.”
Referring to the upcoming Monsoon Session of the Bihar Legislature, Minister Nabin declared, “In the Monsoon Session, the alliance is free to ask questions, but they must realize that today, accountability lies not just with the government but also with every citizen who has placed their trust in this changing Bihar and India.”
He further added that the opposition, clearly “unnerved by the NDA government’s development work,” has now resorted to “rumor-mongering,” labeling the Grand Alliance as “nothing but a marketplace of lies and speculation.”
