Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the third selection list for admission to Intermediate courses for the 2026–28 academic session through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS). Students whose names appear on the list can take admission in their allotted higher secondary schools and recognised intermediate colleges between June 11 and June 14.
The latest selection list offers another opportunity to thousands of students across Bihar who were unable to secure admission in their preferred institutions through the first and second selection rounds.
Admission Process Begins
District Education Officer Ravindra Kumar said students selected in the third merit list must complete the admission process within the prescribed period. He advised candidates to download their Intimation Letter and Common Application Form (CAF) from the OFSS portal before reporting to their allotted institutions.
Students who fail to complete admission within the deadline may lose their allotted seats.
Documents Required for Enrolment
According to BSEB guidelines, students must carry all necessary documents while seeking admission. These include:
- Intimation Letter downloaded from the OFSS portal
- Common Application Form (CAF)
- Mark sheets and academic certificates
- Passport-size photographs

The board has also stated that students allotted seats in institutions of higher preference must complete admission there within the stipulated period. Failure to do so could result in the cancellation of their previous admission.

Deputy Programme Officer (Secondary Education) Gargi Kumari urged students and parents not to wait until the final day to complete admission formalities.
She advised candidates to keep all required documents ready and complete the enrolment process at the earliest to avoid any last-minute difficulties.
Officials said students who do not complete admission within the specified period may forfeit their opportunity for enrolment.
