Darbhanga: The online admission process for the academic session 2026-27 has commenced at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Pachadhi, located in the Kewti block of Darbhanga district. The school has started accepting applications for admissions into classes 6, 9, and 11.
Principal Vijay Kumar informed that the last date to submit applications for the Class 6 entrance examination has been extended to August 13, 2025, in consideration of students’ convenience.
Simultaneously, the online application process for admission to Classes 9 and 11 began on July 26, 2025, and will continue until September 23, 2025.
Only students who are permanent residents of Darbhanga district are eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
- For Class 9 Admission:
- The student must be born between May 1, 2011, and July 31, 2013.
- They must be currently studying in Class 8 in the 2025-26 academic session at a government or recognized school.
- For Class 11 Admission:
- The student must be born between June 1, 2009, and July 31, 2011.
- They must be studying in Class 10 during the 2025-26 session.

Principal Vijay Kumar appealed to parents and students to carefully read the guidelines before filling out the form to avoid mistakes and ensure timely submission.
He emphasized, “This is a significant opportunity for students of Darbhanga district to receive quality education through the Navodaya system. We encourage all eligible students to apply at the earliest.”
