Over 300 Students of Bihar Agricultural University Selected for SDAO and BAO Posts in Bihar

Sabour: More than 300 students from Bihar Agricultural University (BAU), Sabour, have been selected for the posts of Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer (SDAO) and Block Agriculture Officer (BAO) in the Agriculture Department. The final results for these positions, advertised by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), were recently published, and the number of selected students from BAU is expected to be even higher. Appointment letters were distributed to the selected candidates at an event held in Patna.

This remarkable achievement highlights the high standard of education and research at Bihar Agricultural University. The Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. D.R. Singh, credited this success to the dedication of the students and faculty. He emphasized that in addition to regular classes, the university provided extensive guidance for exam preparation, including mock tests for the written examination and mock interviews for the final selection process.

The Competitive Examination & Guidance Cell (CEG Cell) of the university played a key role in organizing these preparatory programs. Both current and former students actively participated in the sessions to prepare for the exams and interviews. To further support the students, the university library remained open 24/7 during the examination period, ensuring uninterrupted access to study materials.
