Patna: Pleasant weather conditions continued across Bihar as a cool westerly breeze kept the atmosphere dry and comfortable, even as a mild chill persisted during early mornings and evenings.
According to the Meteorological Centre in Patna, dry conditions are likely to prevail across most parts of the state due to the influence of westerly winds. Skies are expected to remain partly cloudy in several districts. The impact of the westerly flow will maintain a slight drop in temperatures during morning and evening hours, though no significant fluctuation in overall temperature is forecast. Wind speeds across Bihar are expected to range between 30 and 40 km per hour.
On Saturday, Sheikhpura recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 8.0 degrees Celsius. The state capital, Patna, registered a minimum temperature of 14.2 degrees Celsius. Overall, minimum temperatures across Bihar ranged between 8.0 degrees Celsius and 16.3 degrees Celsius. A drop in minimum temperature was observed in 20 districts, including Patna.
Visibility levels also dipped in parts of the state, with Purnia recording the lowest visibility at 1,200 metres.
In the capital and adjoining areas, the weather remained dry under the influence of westerly winds, with a mild chill during early morning and late evening hours. Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 25.9 degrees Celsius.

Gaya: Maximum 27.2°C, Minimum 11.2°C
Bhagalpur: Maximum 26.5°C, Minimum 11.6°C
Muzaffarpur: Maximum 26.0°C, Minimum 14.5°C
Gaya recorded the coldest night among major cities at 11.2 degrees Celsius.
The current weather trend indicates a gradual rise in cold conditions across Bihar, with light to moderate fog likely during morning and evening hours in several districts.
