Patna: Patna’s famous Ardhanarishwar Temple has been surrounded by floodwaters following a rise in water levels in the Punpun and Dardha rivers, according to local reports.
Water has entered parts of the temple premises, affecting access to the shrine. The situation has also disrupted regular religious activities at the temple.
Doors Closed As Water Rises
All doors of the temple have been closed as the surrounding area remains inundated. Devotees have been unable to access the temple while the water level remains high.
The temple’s havan kunds have also been submerged by the floodwater, according to reports.
