Patna District Magistrate Reviews Departmental Progress, Emphasizes Public Service

Patna: Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh conducted a review of various departments under the Patna Collectorate, directing officials to ensure the effective implementation of developmental and public welfare schemes. He stressed the need for efficient office management and prompt public service.

The review meeting, held in the Collectorate auditorium, was attended by the Sub-Divisional Officer of Patna Sadar, Special Officer Anubhavan, and officials from multiple departments.

Dr. Singh assessed progress across key sectors, including planning, development, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Panchayati Raj, revenue, welfare, rural development, and engineering. He urged officials to work with self-discipline and a sense of responsibility, ensuring that the general public does not face unnecessary difficulties.

He emphasised that officials must remain responsive at all levels, fostering a strong work culture and addressing issues promptly through coordination and dialogue. He also called for vigilance in handling public grievances, ensuring swift resolution and efficient service delivery.

The district magistrate reiterated that matters of public interest must be given top priority, urging officials to remain proactive in their approach to governance.
