Patna: Several key roads in Patna will face traffic restrictions early on March 15 as the city hosts the Patna Marathon, an event aimed at spreading awareness about drug de-addiction.
Thousands of runners are expected to participate in the event, prompting the traffic police to implement a revised traffic management plan across major routes including JP Ganga Path (Marine Drive), Atal Path, and Ashok Rajpath.
According to the advisory issued by Patna Traffic Police, vehicular movement will remain completely suspended between JP roundabout and Children’s Park during the marathon. Traffic will also be prohibited in both lanes of the JP Ganga Path underpass, covering the stretch from Children’s Park past the Commissioner’s office.
Additionally, traffic will be restricted on one lane of Atal Path for a specific period to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
