The appointments were announced by the office of the city’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP). Previously, Shastri Nagar and Ramkrishna Nagar had no permanent in-charges, with additional SHOs overseeing operations, while Santosh Singh was removed from Digha. Several other stations, including Kotwali, Gandhi Maidan, Buddha Colony, Pirbahor, and Patliputra, also saw changes in leadership.

The reshuffle comes alongside the transfer of multiple DSP-rank officers and represents the third list of postings issued by the Patna SSP this year. The first list, issued on August 14, covered seven stations, while the second, on August 23, involved 18 officers. This latest announcement affects 15 police stations across the city.
