Patna : Several parts of Patna will face scheduled power cuts on Monday as maintenance work is carried out ahead of Durga Puja. Electricity supply in 65 localities connected to 15 feeders will remain disrupted for one to three hours at different times between 9 am and 4 pm.
The shutdowns have been planned for transformer maintenance and trimming of tree branches that have come near electricity wires. The affected areas will see outages during different time slots depending on the feeder and maintenance work.
9 am to 11 am
Electricity supply will remain suspended in East Gandhi Maidan, Gola Road, Subhash Park and Daldali Road from 9 am to 11 am.
10:30 am to 12:30 pm
From 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, power supply will be affected in Shahganj, Musallahpur Hat, Shivpur, Tikia Toli, Lohar Lane, Professor Colony, Bahadurpur village, Bahadurpur Gumti and Navkunj Colony.
10:30 am to 12 pm
The shutdown will affect Shivaji Nagar, Sai Shivam School Lane and areas from Gate Numbers 92 to 97 from 10:30 am to noon.
11 am to 1 pm
From 11 am to 1 pm, electricity supply will remain disrupted in Bahadurpur Housing Colony Sectors 4, 7 and 8 and MG Nagar.
During the same period, power supply will also be affected in Vishweshwaraiya Nagar and areas around the Rupaspur-Gola Road Mor service lane.
11 am to 2 pm
A three-hour shutdown from 11 am to 2 pm will affect Mithila Colony, Nasiriganj, Shankar Cold Storage, Bhela Ram Steel Plant, Anandpuri, Jairam Bazaar, Neemtala Road, Badalpura, Moti Chowk, Lal Chowk, Gandhi School Road, Venus Paradise, Vijay Yadav Path, Tribhuvan Mor, Gadikhana, Adampur, Main Road Khagaul and Vidyut Nagar.
11:30 am to 12:30 pm
Residents of Rajiv Nagar Road Numbers 13 to 26, Digha-Ashiana Road and Kesari Nagar will face a one-hour power cut from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
12 pm to 1:30 pm
Power supply will remain disrupted in Nalapar, Vikar Nagar and Kurji Kothia from noon to 1:30 pm.
2 pm to 3 pm
The shutdown will affect Kadamtuan Police Station and Premchand Golambar from 2 pm to 3 pm.
2 pm to 4 pm
The final scheduled shutdown will take place from 2 pm to 4 pm in Bahadurpur Housing Colony Sectors 3, 4 and 6 and Bhootnath Road.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan electricity-dependent activities around the scheduled shutdowns, as maintenance work will continue across different feeders throughout the day.
