Ranchi: Students from a coaching institute in Ranchi have recorded strong results in the January 2026 session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, with several candidates securing high percentile scores and All India Ranks (AIR), according to data released by the institute.
The top performer from Persistent Education Pvt Ltd was Divyansh Sahu, who secured a 99.81 percentile and an AIR of 613 in the category rankings. Pranjal Chaudhary followed with a 99.63 percentile and AIR 6,040, while Harsh Rani scored 99.21 percentile with AIR 12,684. Swasti Samriddhi achieved a 99.20 percentile and AIR 3,177.
Among other high scorers, Aditya Kumar obtained AIR 4,660 with a 98.88 percentile. Soumyak Tiwari secured AIR 5,307 (98.74 percentile), and Shaurya Gupta recorded AIR 5,528 with a 98.69 percentile.
A wider group of students from the institute also crossed the 90 percentile mark, including Devansh Raj (AIR 5,541), Jay Kumar (AIR 20,051), Vivek Raj (AIR 14,774), Vivek Kumar (AIR 27,457), Anushka (AIR 38,015), Aviral Prakash (AIR 45,307), Harshita Kumari (AIR 66,428), Ananya Kumari (AIR 85,072) and Bhavya Sharma (AIR 103,678).
Ashish Anand, director of Persistent Education, said the results reflected “consistent effort, discipline and structured academic preparation”.
JEE Main is one of India’s key engineering entrance examinations, used for admission to National Institutes of Technology and other centrally funded technical institutions, and as a qualifying test for JEE Advanced, which leads to entry into the Indian Institutes of Technology.
