Purnia: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Purnia on 15 September. During his visit, he will inaugurate the new airport and also announce development projects worth thousands of crores for the Seemanchal region. BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal gave this information in a press conference in Patna on Tuesday.
In preparation for the assembly elections in Bihar, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has planned a series of conferences across the state. The third phase of these conferences will be held in 42 assembly constituencies on 3, 7 and 8 September. For this purpose, 14 teams have been formed to reach out to workers and people in different areas.
JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha said that the first two phases of the conference saw strong participation from NDA workers. He added that in every assembly-level conference, nearly six to seven thousand workers of the alliance are expected to join. Leaders of HAM, RLMO and LJP were also present and expressed support.
The opening of Purnia airport is being seen as a big step for better connectivity and development in Seemanchal. The NDA hopes that the Prime Minister’s visit and new projects will boost both the region’s growth and the alliance’s strength ahead of the elections.
