Patna: Satish Kumar, CEO of the Railway Board, conducted a window trailing inspection of the Patna-Mokama-Rajendrapul railway section on Sunday.
During the inspection, he assessed key operational aspects including track safety, visibility of signals, ballast quality, screening, alignment, fittings, and the overhead traction system. Officials said the review was aimed at ensuring smooth train operations and strengthening safety measures across the busy corridor.
Satish also visited the construction site of the new rail bridge being built parallel to the existing Rajendrapul bridge over the Ganga. At kilometre 88/20, he examined various safety measures linked to track maintenance and instructed senior railway officers to expedite work while maintaining quality standards.
He was accompanied by Chhatrasal Singh, general manager of East Central Railway, along with other senior officials.
