Rural Works Department Inaugurates New Office in Patna

Patna: Bihar’s Rural Works Department inaugurated its newly constructed internal office on Tuesday, marking a step towards streamlining administrative operations. The office, equipped with modern facilities, was formally opened by Rural Works Minister Ashok Choudhary at the Departmental Assembly Hall in Visvesvaraya Bhawan. Departmental Secretary Dr B Rajender and other senior officials were also present at the event.

Speaking at the inauguration, Minister Choudhary highlighted the significance of the new office in enhancing the department’s efficiency. “This modern office will facilitate smoother operations and accelerate administrative work, ultimately benefiting the people of Bihar,” he said.

The event, held after the Legislative Assembly session, saw the participation of department officers and employees. Discussions also covered various schemes and upcoming projects aimed at improving rural infrastructure across the state.
