Patna: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary today announced the approval for the two-lane widening and strengthening of the Usri to Nakati Bhawani Path in west Patna. This crucial infrastructure project is estimated to cost Rs 29.15 crore.
The project is set to significantly benefit residents of several villages and areas, including Chakmusa, Korjichak, Korji, Mohammadpur, Dharampur, and Moti Chowk-Ram Janaki Temple. With the road’s completion, more than 10 surrounding villages and a population exceeding 50,000 individuals are expected to experience improved connectivity and reduced travel times. Furthermore, the widened and strengthened road will help alleviate traffic pressure on the National Highway that currently passes through this region.
Deputy CM Chaudhary highlighted the continuous progress in road and bridge infrastructure development across Bihar under the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government. He stated that the state now boasts a vastly improved road network compared to the year 2005.
“This development, specifically the widening and strengthening of the Usri to Nakati Path, will not only ease traffic flow but also promote tourism and generate new opportunities for local employment,” Deputy Chief Minister Chaudhary affirmed.
