Patna: Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of the Isha Foundation, visited Takht Sri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib on Sunday, where he was accorded a ceremonial welcome by members of the gurdwara management committee and devotees.
In keeping with Sikh tradition, Sadhguru was presented with a Siropa (robe of honour) and a ceremonial sword during the visit.
Prayers At Patna Sahib
After arriving at the gurdwara, Sadhguru paid obeisance and offered Ardas (prayer), seeking the well-being of the nation, society and humanity.
Speaking on the occasion, he described Takht Sri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib as a place of deep spiritual and historical significance, not only for the Sikh community but also for people across India and around the world.
He noted that the shrine marks the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, whose teachings on courage, sacrifice and spirituality continue to inspire generations.
Message Of Service And Harmony
Referring to Guru Gobind Singh’s life, Sadhguru said it offered enduring lessons in righteousness, truth, courage and selfless service.
He added that visits to sacred places provide an opportunity to better understand India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
Sadhguru also urged people to draw inspiration from the teachings of saints and spiritual leaders to strengthen peace, brotherhood and human values in society.

Warm Welcome By Gurdwara Committee
Members of the gurdwara management committee described the visit as a significant occasion, saying the presence of representatives from different spiritual traditions reflected the values of mutual respect, national unity and interfaith harmony.
Security arrangements were put in place throughout the visit as devotees gathered at the historic shrine.
Concluding his address, Sadhguru encouraged people to continue working for human welfare, community service and spiritual growth.
