Patna: Sanjay Singh Tiger, a former MLA from Sandesh (2010–15) and currently a spokesperson for the BJP’s Bihar unit, has been inducted into the new Bihar cabinet following his decisive victory in the Ara assembly constituency.
Party insiders say Tiger’s strong grassroots network, consistent engagement on local issues and his popularity among voters played a central role in securing the win. His sweeping mandate signals renewed support for the BJP across Bhojpur, strengthening the party’s regional foothold.
Tiger’s induction into Nitish Kumar’s new ministerial team underscores the growing importance of young leadership within the alliance. Party strategists view him as a politically agile figure with the ability to consolidate support in both urban and rural pockets of the district.
Beyond electoral politics, Tiger is known locally for his involvement in social and cultural initiatives, a factor that has contributed to his reputation as a hands-on, development-oriented leader. With his new role, he is expected to take on portfolios linked to regional development, education and health — areas that remain key concerns for voters in Ara.
