Patna: September will be significant from a religious and cultural perspective, with several major Hindu festivals and observances falling during the month of Bhadrapad, according to the Hindu calendar.
The month will include Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Hartalika Teej, Ganesh Chaturthi, Vishwakarma Puja, Radhashtami and Anant Chaturdashi. Pitru Paksha, the period dedicated to honouring ancestors, will begin on September 27.
Janmashtami On September 4

Hartalika Teej On September 14
Hartalika Teej and Chaturthi Chandra, also known as Chaurchan, will be observed on September 14.
Hartalika Teej is traditionally marked by fasting and worship, particularly by married women. Chaturthi Chandra is also observed with religious rituals.
Ganesh Chaturthi On September 15
Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on September 15. Devotees will worship Lord Ganesha and offer prayers seeking prosperity and the removal of obstacles.
Vishwakarma Puja And Radhashtami
Vishwakarma Puja will be observed on September 17. The festival is associated with the worship of tools, machinery, workplaces and other equipment.
Radhashtami will follow on September 19, when devotees will offer prayers to Radha Rani.
Anant Chaturdashi On September 25
Anant Chaturdashi will be observed on September 25. On September 26, devotees will perform Tarpan, a ritual offering of water, for Sage Agastya.
