Hajipur: To manage the increased passenger demand during summer vacations, the Railways has announced the operation of eight pairs of special trains connecting various destinations, ensuring a smooth journey for travelers. These trains will run on specific days between April and July 2025.
Train No. 01009/01010 Lokmanya Tilak-Danapur-Lokmanya Tilak Special will run twice a week via DDU, Prayagraj Chheoki, Maihar, Madan Mahal, Itarsi, and Bhusaval. The train from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal departs every Monday and Saturday from April 7 to June 30at 12:15 PM, reaching Danapur the next day at 5:00 PM. The return journey starts at 7:00 PM every Tuesday and Sunday from April 8 to July 1 , reaching Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 4:40 AM on the third day. Similarly, Train No. 01481/01482 Pune-Danapur-Pune Special will operate on Mondays and Fridays, departing Pune at 7:55 PM from April 7 to June 30 and reaching Danapur on the third day. The return service runs on Wednesdays and Sundays from April 9 to July,2 leaving Danapur at 8:30 AM and reaching Pune at 5:35 PM the next day.
Another service, Train No. 01043/01044 Lokmanya Tilak-Samastipur-Lokmanya Tilak Special, will run weekly on Tuesdays from April 8 to June 24 , leaving Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12:15 PM and reaching Samastipur at 9:15 PM the next day, with a stop at Patliputra at 5:10 PM. The return journey starts on Wednesdays from April 9 to June 25 at 11:20 PM, stopping at Patliputra at 2:20 AM, and reaching Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 11:00 AM on the third day. Train No. 01145/01146 CSMT-Asansol-CSMT Special will also run weekly, departing CSMT at 11:05 AM every Monday from April 7 to June 23 , reaching Asansol on the third day. The return service departs Asansol at 9:00 PM on Wednesdays from April 9 to June 25 , reaching CSMT at 8:15 AM on the third day.
In addition, Train No. 01105/01106 Pune-Danapur-Pune Unreserved Special will operate weekly on Tuesdays from April 8 to June 24 , leaving Pune at 7:55 PM and reaching Danapur at 6:00 AM on Thursday. The return journey is on Thursdays from April 10 to June 26 , leaving Danapur at 8:30 AM and arriving in Pune at 5:35 PM on Friday. Another unreserved train, No. 01155/01156 Lokmanya Tilak-Danapur-Lokmanya Tilak, will run on Fridays from April 11 to June 27 , departing Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10:30 AM and reaching Danapur the next day. The return service departs Danapur on Saturdays from April 12 to June 28 at 8:00 PM, reaching Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 4:50 AM on Monday.
The Railways has also introduced Train No. 08439/08440 Puri-Patna-Puri Special, running on Saturdays from May 3 to June 28 , departing Puri at 2:55 PM and reaching Patna at 10:45 AM the next day. The return train departs Patna at 1:30 PM on Sundays from May 4 to June 29 , reaching Puri at 9:45 AM the next day. Additionally, Train No. 01663/01664 Rani Kamlapati-Saharsa-Rani Kamlapati Express Special will operate on Mondays from April 7 to June 30 , leaving Rani Kamlapati at 4:30 PM and reaching Saharsa at 3:15 PM the next day, stopping at Patliputra at 10:00 AM. The return train departs Saharsa on Tuesdays from April 8 to July 1 at 6:30 PM, stopping at Patliputra at 12:10 AM, and reaching Rani Kamlapati at 9:10 PM.
