Patna: Pranav Kumar, brother of renowned Super 30 founder Anand Kumar, officially joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Wednesday, receiving party membership from Tejashwi Prasad Yadav. His entry into the political arena has immediately sparked speculation that he may contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections on an RJD ticket.
Pranav Kumar has been a pivotal figure in the success of Super 30, playing an important role in the operations and administrative work of the acclaimed educational initiative since its inception. His brother, Anand Kumar, gained international recognition for Super 30’s remarkable achievement in preparing underprivileged yet talented children for competitive examinations like the IIT-JEE.
From Education to Politics: A New Chapter for Social Service
Now, Pranav Kumar has expressed his aspiration to extend his work for the poor, youth, and deprived sections of society through social service and politics, building upon his background in education.
Upon receiving his party membership, Pranav Kumar stated his commitment to advancing the fight for development and social justice in Bihar under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav. He affirmed that he would leverage his experience to “educate poor children and connect youth with employment.”
RJD Welcomes, Hints at Future Role
While no official announcement has been made by the RJD regarding his candidacy, the prevailing sentiment suggests that the party might offer him a ticket in the forthcoming assembly elections.
Tejashwi Yadav formally welcomed Pranav Kumar into the party, acknowledging Super 30’s contribution to Bihar’s prestige through education. He expressed confidence that Pranav Kumar’s joining would significantly “strengthen the fight for social justice” within the party. This move is seen as a strategic addition to RJD’s ranks, potentially appealing to a broader demographic, particularly those valuing education and social upliftment.
