Patna: Tej Pratap Yadav has denied allegations made against him after an FIR was registered at Pataliputra police station in Patna following court directions.
The FIR names Tej Pratap Yadav and his associate, Motilal Yadav, in connection with allegations made by Akash Yadav, former state president of Chhatra RJD.
Tej Pratap Calls Allegations Baseless
Responding to the development in a post on social media platform X, Tej Pratap Yadav described the allegations as false and politically motivated.

He alleged that the complainant had earlier received a legal notice over what he described as indecent, abusive and threatening conduct. According to Tej Pratap, the FIR was filed out of personal vendetta and as part of an attempt to damage his public image.
Tej Pratap said he has always respected the law, democratic values and constitutional institutions. He added that his willingness to remain accessible to people should not be interpreted as weakness.
Vows to Fight Case Through Legal Means
Tej Pratap Yadav said he has full faith in the judiciary and the legal process and expressed confidence that the facts would emerge during the course of the investigation.
He stated that he would exercise all available legal options against those he believes are attempting to tarnish his reputation.
In his statement, he also said he would not be intimidated by what he termed false allegations or malicious campaigns and reaffirmed his commitment to truth, justice and public trust.
Allegations Detailed in FIR
According to the FIR, Akash Yadav alleged that Tej Pratap Yadav and Motilal Yadav arrived at his residence in the Pataliputra area while he was away on a pilgrimage to Khatu Shyam.
The complaint alleges that the two attempted to enter the premises forcibly and threatened family members present at the house with serious consequences.
Police Investigation Underway
Law and Order SDPO-2 Divyanjali Jaiswal confirmed that the FIR has been registered and said police are examining all aspects of the case.
Officials said the matter remains under investigation and further action will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.
