Patna: Patna’s Marine Drive turned into an impromptu stage for a lighter side of Bihar’s opposition leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, who was spotted late on Monday night enjoying a casual outing with his wife Rajshree Yadav and sister Rohini Acharya, shortly after concluding his Voter Adhikar Yatra.
Videos shared by Rohini on X showed Yadav laughing, chatting with young people, and even dancing at the request of his nephews. In the clips, Yadav engaged with local youths who raised questions about the state’s lack of film infrastructure. He remarked that his party had envisioned a studio complex on the lines of Ramoji Film City, but the plan stalled after his government lost power. One girl was also seen singing a folk-style song in his honour.

Rohini captioned the videos with a political undertone, writing that Bihar’s youth “want change” and that such informal conversations gave Yadav a chance to connect with people directly. She added that the state needed “young leadership and new thinking” for progress.
The Voter Adhikar Yatra, which Yadav launched on August 17, concluded on September 1 in Patna. Following its conclusion, the RJD leader spent the evening by the Ganges, relaxing with his family and chatting with supporters, in a rare public display of informality.
