Patna: With only weeks left before the Bihar assembly elections, political activity in the state has entered a fever pitch. Amid rallies, yatras and speeches, a lighter moment involving opposition leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav has taken social media by storm.
A video posted by Tejashwi himself shows him dancing with a group of young supporters on Patna’s Marine Drive, set to a song by Bhojpuri singer Khesari Lal Yadav. The lyrics – praising both Tejashwi and his father, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav – have struck a chord among his followers.

In his post, Yadav wrote: “The identity of a good leader is that he never lets his supporters get upset. Yesterday some youngsters were making reels on Marine Drive. When they saw my convoy, they insisted I join them – this is the video you are watching now.”
The clip, recorded at night, quickly went viral across platforms. Yadav’s sister, Rohini Acharya, amplified the buzz by sharing it on Instagram with the caption “future Chief Minister”, fuelling speculation and excitement among RJD loyalists.
While his supporters hailed the moment as an example of his relatability and youthful appeal, rival parties dismissed it as a publicity stunt. Still, the viral video has injected fresh energy into Bihar’s already charged election atmosphere, underlining how leaders are using both rallies and reels to connect with voters as polling day draws closer.
