Patna: Relief appears to be on the way for lakhs of teacher aspirants in Bihar as the state government has confirmed that the notification for the fourth phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4) will be released in July.
Mithilesh Tiwari said preparations for the recruitment process are in the final stages. He added that the online application process would begin immediately after the official notification is issued.
Tiwari said the state government’s priority is to ensure timely recruitment of qualified teachers to strengthen Bihar’s education system. According to him, the Chief Minister has already issued necessary directions to officials regarding the recruitment exercise.
Coordination Between Education Department and BPSC
The Education Minister stated that continuous meetings have been held between senior officials of the Education Department and the Bihar Public Service Commission to streamline the process.
He said coordination between the two bodies has now been completed, allowing the government to move ahead with the recruitment schedule. Tiwari asserted that the notification would be issued in July without delay.
According to the minister, the government aims to avoid uncertainty in the recruitment process and ensure that the examination timeline is implemented as planned.
Vacancy Details Yet to Be Announced
When asked about the number of vacancies likely to be filled under TRE-4, Tiwari did not provide a specific figure. However, he said the government would announce a substantial number of teaching posts under the recruitment drive.
He added that complete details related to vacancies, eligibility criteria, application fees, examination pattern, and the application procedure would be included in the official notification.
The minister also said the department intends to issue a clear and comprehensive advertisement to minimise confusion and avoid legal disputes that could delay the recruitment process.
Aspirants Await Official Notification
Interest in the recruitment drive has remained high following the earlier TRE-1, TRE-2 and TRE-3 examinations. Candidates across Bihar have been preparing for the next phase for several months.
Following the minister’s announcement, discussions around TRE-4 intensified on social media platforms and in coaching institutes across the state.
If the recruitment process is completed on schedule, it is expected to help address the shortage of teachers in government schools across Bihar. Candidates are now awaiting the release of the detailed notification in July.
