Patna: The Union Public Service Commission has announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination 2025, with Anuj Agnihotri from Rajasthan securing All India Rank 1. The results, published on the commission’s official website, confirmed the selection of 958 candidates for various prestigious government services.
According to the commission, the successful candidates will be appointed to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other central services. The Civil Services Examination is widely regarded as one of the most challenging competitive exams in India, drawing thousands of aspirants every year.
Candidates from Bihar delivered a strong performance in this year’s results, with two aspirants securing places in the top 10. Raghav Jhunjhunwala from the Saraiyaganj area of Muzaffarpur secured the fourth rank. He completed his schooling at Delhi Public School in Muzaffarpur before graduating from Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi, where he began preparing for the civil services examination. Jhunjhunwala said the result came in his third attempt.
Another candidate from Bihar, Ujjwal Priyank from Patna, secured the 10th rank, while Yashasvi Rajvardhan from Saran district achieved the 11th position. Their success has been widely celebrated across the state, highlighting the growing presence of Bihar’s candidates among the country’s top civil services achievers.
Several other candidates from the state also performed well. Ayush Kumar from Kothia village in Tajpur block of Samastipur district secured the 143rd rank. His father, Arun Chaudhary, runs a grocery shop, and villagers celebrated the achievement as a significant moment of pride for the community.
Abhishek Kumar Singh from Raja Jan village in Mohiuddin Nagar block of Samastipur district secured the 102nd rank. Family members said Abhishek had been academically strong since childhood and had cleared the entrance exam for Sainik School Simultala while still in primary school.
According to official data released by the commission, 180 candidates have been selected for the Indian Administrative Service this year. In addition, 55 candidates have been chosen for the Indian Foreign Service and 150 for the Indian Police Service.
