Patna: A boat carrying 10 people reportedly capsized in the Ganga near Mahatma Gandhi Setu in Vaishali on Tuesday afternoon, prompting the administration and rescue teams to launch an operation to trace those on board.
According to the information available from the incident site, the boat overturned near pillar number 10 of Gandhi Setu after getting caught in a strong current.
The boat was reportedly travelling from Raghopur towards Digha when the incident occurred.

Following information about the accident, local residents, the administration and rescue teams began efforts to locate the people who were travelling on the boat.
