The commemorative event will take place at LN Mishra College and is expected to be held with full ceremonial honours.

Preparations for the high-profile visit are in full swing, with district officials and law enforcement agencies coordinating to ensure tight security and smooth execution of the programme.

According to Muzaffarpur District Magistrate Subrat Kumar Sen, the Vice President will arrive at Patahi Airport before travelling by road to the event venue. “The Vice President’s arrival is a matter of great pride for the district. After attending the programme at LN Mishra College, he will return to the airport and depart for his next destination,” Sen said.

To oversee arrangements, a high-level team of officials—including Senior Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar, Rural SP, SDM East Amit Kumar, SDPO Town Vinita Sinha, and the Civil Surgeon—visited the venue on Saturday. They reviewed infrastructure, protocol, and security measures, and issued necessary directives to the teams involved.
